Erica Santos has been a stylist since 2001. She has "always been obsessed with hair" and feels that our hair is "our ultimate acessory". Erica is inspired by impressionist artists and their use of bold color, also by the positive writing styles of Palou Cahleo and Don Miguel Ruiz. Erica has attended extensive razor cutting classes at Bumble and Bumble in New York, advanced color classes with Goldwell and Wella, and is also a network educator for Bumble and Bumble. Erica's favorite trick of the trade is using Bumble and Bumble hair powder between shampoos to absorb oil at the roots, or to camouflage the roots between color touch ups.

The loveliest experience of Erica's career has been working with a cancer survivor as her hair was growing back in. "I worked with her every other month and continued shaping her new little hairs into a style that worked. It was an honor to help her through the growing out phases."

Bumble & Bumble Product of Choice:
Erica's favorite Bumble and Bumble product is Thickening Spray. It is great for blowing out the hair and setting it as well "It can give anyone big hair!"

Styling Tip:
“My favorite trick would be to use hair powder to cover grey and of course to camouﬂage the three day no-wash look.”

Erica is one of six girls (yep, five sisters!), originally from Fremont. She loves San Francisco because it has great diversity in food, art, theater, shopping, night life and lifestyles. "it is the perfect fusion of all types of everything!"Erica loves traveling, music, all types of food, her jewelry collection, and most of all, her family. When Erica is not at work, she is usually online, working out, or visiting with friends and family.
